Owner/Tutor
I have been tutoring privately for the past 3 years. Upon receiving an influx of students inquiring about tutoring, I had filled all of my time and was unable to take on any more students. However, I did not want this to prevent future students from getting the perfect tutor.
And that was how IXL came about. I have created a platform for students to be connected with tutors.
I found a group of tutors as dedicated as I am to helping children through their education. Our team is constantly expanding to new areas so that more students are able to get the assistance they require.

Tutor
Steph has joined the IXL team to help students of all ages with their schooling. Steph brings a valuable set of skills in studying education at university, having extensive experience in roles centred around children, and in recent completion of placement in local schools. These skills extend beyond the classroom with her experience in OOSH centres enabling her to foster a range of skills students require for learning.
Steph specialises in tutoring children of primary school age for both English and Maths. She is also available for essay preparation and writing assistance for high school students (e.g. English or History essays). This combination makes Steph a tutor with current and unique knowledge of existing content, strategies and methods to help your child excel.
Michael
Tutor
Michael is a trained maths teacher with years of experience with maths and teaching. He is available to tutor primary to high school maths and is our LANTITE numeracy tutor.
Michael specialises in secondary to university level mathematics. Prior to teaching, Michael was a mathematician and is well-equipped and highly knowledgeable to help your child with any maths problem that comes their way.
