IXL Tutoring specialises in working one-on-one with school students to enhance their education and academic ability. I have been tutoring privately for many years now and began branching out to work alongside other tutors about 1 year ago. I found that the demand for tutoring had grown significantly and I was unable to offer services to all of the students who sought tutoring.
Currently, tutoring is offered in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.
Tutors are able to travel to your home or you may choose to meet in another location such as a library or the tutor's house.

Tutors are available for one-off assistance or assessment, marking and proofreading services, as well as short-term and long-term sessions to meet the needs of your child.

A vast range of subjects are covered for tutoring between the various tutors in each location. Areas reach across primary and high school students and any specialist needs of students. These include, but are not limited to:
English for both primary and high school (reading, writing, essay writing, grammar, punctuation and spelling). Specifically for high school, target areas include English studies, Standard English, Advanced English and Extension.

The extension of IXL Tutoring into broader areas offers greater opportunities for students to seek assistance. It has been a long term goal of mine to help children have the best chance that they can to do well in school and life opportunities. Tutors available are all also current education students on a path to teaching in primary or secondary education, or are already working in this field.
